Hello San Diego!
Welcome to a new edition of the San Diego Participant Observer. In this issue, our Book of the Month is A Long Petal of the Sea by Isabel Allende (which was our June reading for our International Book Club). The CD of the Month is De Todas las Flores, the newest release by the fabulous Natalia Lafourcade. This year we've decided to embrace the spirit of summer relaxation, and our Recipe of the Month will take a summer sabbatical. However, we don't want you to miss out on any culinary delights. So, we'll be reprising some of our all-time favorite recipes from our extensive cookbook archive. So this month we reach back to April 2016 for our Tarte Tartin recipe! Yum!
